Will working out lose body weight for women in the gym?, in a short answer yes!, working out will help a woman lose body weight and body fat, but also training weights will have the added bonus of toning the bodies shape as well.

Women need not worry about getting too overly muscled from lifting weights as this is not as easy a thing to make happen as one might think, rather, lifting weights will give a nice toned shape to the body, while also helping in weight loss and weight management as well.

when it comes to training men typically have no fear of adding weight to their exercises. after all most want to add more muscle to there bodies when working out. it is the reason we want to weight train in the first place.

On the other hand women tend to fear using heavier weights. Their preference is to tighten and tone there bodies muscular structure.

The reason women choose weight training is to control body fat levels which is actually is accomplished by adding muscle to there bodies. the more lean muscle a woman can add, the higher her daily resting metabolic rate will be, the body’s internal calorie burning engine.

Though many women are under the impression that they should be training very differently to men. many women believe that high reps and light weight will quickly change there bodies look, making them leaner and harder.

Though these light weights and high reps will not build any significant muscle and is, more or less, ineffective in building lean body mass or ridding the body of fat.

The fastest and most effective way for a woman who wants to change her bodies look, is to add lean body mass and to shed unwanted body fat from her body, is to train with heavier weights in the 6 to 12 rep range when working out in the gym.

This type of training will build muscle on her physique. and it is this new muscle that will create a lean appearance for her.

Many women and men are now realizing that training with weights is the best way to lose body-fat and to keep fat off themselves forever.

Muscle is metabolically active. And so the more muscle your body has the faster your metabolic rate will, and the faster your bodies metabolic rate is, the more calories that are burned and the easier it becomes to stay lean and in the shape you get yourself into.

This is why women need not think that they should not train like the men do, i.e. lifting weights for moderate reps or training in the gym with resistance exercises, because the extra muscle these practices cause, is very helpful when trying to lose weight, and stop the excess body weight coming back, also training for more muscle size gives the body that toned look as well.
